DESCRIPTION:This training is for anyone age 13 or older — great for babysitters! Idylwylde has generously agreed to let us use their hall (6301 Sherwood Rd.) for this training. \n\n\n\nWhat you will learn: \n\n\n\n\nGood Samaritan Law and application\n\n\n\n\n\nAmerican Heart Association Heartsaver adult\, child\, and infant CPR\n\n\n\n\n\nApplication and use of an AED\n\n\n\n\n\nBasic first aid\n\n\n\n\n\nHow to respond to medical emergencies\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nWhat you will receive: \n\n\n\n\nStudent workbook\n\n\n\n\n\nAmerican Heart Association Heartsaver certification valid for two years (sent via email)\n\n\n\n\n\nCPR keychain face mask\n\n\n\n\nIMPORTANT: Preregistration and prepayment are required for this event. \n\n\n\nPrice: $90Preregistration is open until JULY 10.To register\, email Dan Ricks (LWCA Secretary and the trainer) the following information: \n\n\n\n– Your name– Name of person(s) attending– Email address of person(s) attending \n\n\n\nDan will email you back a preregistration form via a Google Document within 24 hours. \n\n\n\nYou must attend the class in its entirety to receive certification. \n\n\n\nRescheduling/refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
